"Salem.....Where a Warm Welcome Awaits You"

|
This fall will mark the 125th anniversary of the founding of Salem Lutheran Church. A special service is being planned -- watch this space for details as they become available!
A new Salem Men's Work Group meets on the fourth Saturday of the month at 8:00 AM for coffee/donuts/fellowship, and then spends the rest of the morning doing various jobs on the property. No need to sign up; just show up ready to work!
The Salem Walking Group steps off after worship on Sundays (except for the First Sundays, when we gather downstairs). Come in comfortable clothes and shoes (or bring walking shoes to change into if you prefer -- you can leave whatever you you don't want to carry at church). The routes will vary, and will end up at a local restaurant for lunch.
It’s Salem’s Guide to South Baltimore and beyond, put together from conversations with our members who grew up here and from others who live and work here. In it we offer tips about restaurants, services, things to do, and places of worship. We have been welcoming new neighbors since 1885. We’d love to meet you! If you would like a copy of our free illustrated guide, please call the church office (410-576-0487) or reply by e-mail and we’ll see that you get one. Or come join us for worship any Sunday, and pick one up there.
SALEM SINGERS LOOKING TO GROW
IN NUMBER The "Salem Singers" cordially invite you to join them and "make a joyful noise"! The group offers its gift of music each week, and practices immediately following the service. Please contact Music Director Marie Macklin Lacy for more information. |
