You're invited to the following leadership training event..... "OPENING WINDOWS, OPENING DOORS" Saturday, May 3rd, 8:45 AM - 4:00 PM St. John Lutheran Church 8808 Harford Road Parkville, MD 21234 The event is for current Congregational Council members, committee chairs, Women of the ELCA (WELCA) leadership, and anyone interested in learning more about the vision for church leadership. We are requested to register as a group, so please tell me (Pastor Barbara) of your intention to attend no later than Sunday, April 20 (registration is due at the synod by April 26). Salem will pay the registration fee of $5.00 for adults; participants ages 18-30 years are free, and we hope to send some of our young adults. These synod events are always well planned, thoughtful, and inspiring. You can expect a day of high energy, high quality time, a chance to refuel, learn, and bring new ideas and energy to our life together. This workshop offers us a rich opportunity to grow and learn together. I encourage you to attend. We can plan car-pooling too.
